I wonder how the apologists and PC brigade will explain this one. Taken in by caring foster parents from war zones and they still turn out to be nasty radical Islam loving scum bags.

The reason the left slavishly apologises for Islamism is that Muslims vote overwhelmingly Labour. It's pure unadulterated electoral self-interest.

That's why Islamic rights trump feminism, anti-racism, opposition to anti-Semitism and the left's habitual hatred of organised religion.

Gavros 1:43 Mon Sep 18
Re: Explosion on London Tube Parsons Green
It's all BUT, BUT, BUT.

I'm hardly on the Right, as most loveable Tory knobs like Fidel and Zero will attest to. However, the hard left are clearly apologising for Islam, as usual, because they affiliate with anything and anyone that is against this country.

"Ignoring your spittle-fuelled inarticulation, I would be very interested in any evidence you can muster to back this up this typically ludicrous claim, Gavros"

Hmm well let's look at what the socialist worker says.

Charlie Hebdo

"The media present Charlie Hebdo as simply a "satirical magazine". But it is not the French equivalent of Private Eye as some commentators have suggested. It may have been once, but it has become a specialist in presenting provocative and racist attacks on Islam. That does not justify the killings, but it is essential background.

Nor should we forget that year after year imperialism has launched wars, assassinations, drone attacks and torture across the Middle East and elsewhere. Such outrages create deep hatred"

Lee Rigby

"The aftermath of Woolwich shows that we should never be complacent about the racists’ ability to organise. "

London Bridge

"May said that “terrorism breeds terrorism”. In fact the root of all these attacks is the state terrorism carried out by Britain and the USthat has torn apart Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya and other countries.

This doesn’t justify such attacks, but it’s the inescapable background.

Jeremy Corbyn was right to say after the Manchester attack that “Many experts, including professionals in our intelligence and security services have pointed to the connections between wars our government has supported or fought in other countries, such as Libya, and terrorism here at home.”"

How about the Westminster Bridge attack?

"Much of the media was quick to declare Khalid Masood, who attacked people on Westminster bridge last Wednesday, an Islamist. The Daily Mail newspaper claimed, “The attack bore the hallmarks of Islamic State.”

Since then there has been speculation about whether Masood was a disturbed individual not connected to a terrorist organisation.

We don’t know for certain what motivated his attack. But we do know that the system we live in spawns terrorism."

What about ISIS?

"
Our job is to defeat imperialism, not Isisby Alex Callinicos

Positively the stupidest thing said about the Paris attacks came from the French president, Francois Hollande, when he denounced them as an “act of war”. Of course they were, but this war didn’t start on Friday of last week.

At the very latest it began with the Gulf War of 1990-91, the first in the present cycle of imperialist interventions in the Middle East.

This doesn’t make the shootings and bombings in Paris part of a legitimate anti-imperialist struggle."

Re: Explosion on London Tube Parsons Green
An English lady friend said to me a few weeks ago that there were so many Arabs in central London, said she went to Harrods to buy a silk scarf as a present for a birthday present and the sale assistant asked her if she minded waiting as there were 300 waiting, she turned around to look and there was a sea of black with burqa and or hijab.

They spend MUCH and keep the economy going, that is the problem. Their oil income is dwindling, but they have much reserves which probably will last them for another generation so any government crackdown will sadly only happen when their money runs out and they stop spending.

what has that got to do with the cunts causing mayhem in Europe? I never said all Moslems but to use that as a reason not to criticise the ideology is further burying your head in the sand. I follow macer gifford on fb so I know who he's fighting alongside. maybe he can bring some Kurds back with him to deal with the alleged thousands on the so cal!ed 'watch list'

Millions. There are literally millions of non-muslim leftists why see things like what ISIS are doing as a perfectly understandable reaction to 'Imperialism'.

Ignoring your spittle-fuelled inarticulation, I would be very interested in any evidence you can muster to back this up this typically ludicrous claim, Gavros.

Let me make it abundantly clear: I am of the ‘left’ and believe it should be the ‘left’ that should be leading the fight against the insidious acceptance of Islam in all its forms. Concepts such as of separations of legislature and religion, sexual and personal freedom of expression etc are cornerstones of ‘left’ wing thinking. If you care to look further than The Sun and The Mail you will see plenty of people of ‘the left’ arguing this point.
If you think, after six years of a Tory Government, that, ‘the left’ is the problem here then you are missing the point. Again.

This is not a left versus right issue. Not that I would expect someone who soaked up the West Ham-peddled London Stadium bullshit with such ignorant aplomb to understand that.

Re: Explosion on London Tube Parsons Green
You should ask what is the opposite of non-radical Islam? Within Islam there is none.

Where does radical Islam come from? The Koran.

As a Muslim if you oppose (our definition) radical Islam, you are an apostate and should be killed.
